I started shooting portraits seriously almost 15 years ago and never looked back. I got addicted to the feeling of meeting people and helping them look their best, authentically. So many people hate pictures of themselves. I love to deliver a set of portraits and hear the surprise: "Oh, I actually look good in these! And I look like my real self too! That's not fake!"

There's enough artificiality in the world. I like to chase and capture Beauty with a capital B: Beauty that genuinely flows out of people's souls, Beauty that shimmers in the love that binds people together. This goal is one that I am crazily perfectionist about.

I currently live in Castro Valley with my husband and two children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling, painting, and watching fantasy dramas with many swords and long, flowing sleeves. And consuming chocolate. I drink neither coffee nor wine; my fuel of choice is chocolate, always.
